Impact
Formative and summative assessment is at the heart of everything we do and this stems from knowledge of the pupils themselves. Each unit has assessment opportunities and impact can be gauged, in part, from these.
The impact of this curriculum for our pupils will be:
- To be critical thinkers relating to their ability to make informed and appropriate digital choices
- To have a secure knowledge of the three key areas within the curriculum and the desire and confidence to take this through to the next stage of their education
- To be safe online and in online interactions.
- To meet the end of key stage expectations from the National Curriculum
- To be aware of the importance that computing will have going forward and be inspired to continue their learning in this area
- To ensure that opportunity that opportunity exists that pupils may not be able to access outside of school.
- To ensure healthy and effective use of technology
