  • Reception Project

    Fri 12 May 2023

It's always heartening to see our youngest children exploring their creativity and applying their learning in practical ways. Our Reception classes' project on Transport has been an engaging and fun way to introduce them to the concept of designing and making land vehicles. We are so impressed that they were able to review their work and add finishing touches such as wheels, windows and paint.

These hands-on activities are instrumental in nurturing children's problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.

Well done to our Reception classes for their fantastic work!

Congratulations to our Year 3/4 team on their impressive performance at the football tournament! They had a fun and positive experience while also displaying strong teamwork skills on the field. Winning two matches and losing two is an excellent result and shows that the team put in a great effort throughout the tournament.

We are all very proud of what the team achieved and can't wait to see what they'll do next. Well done again to the Year 3/4 team!

  • Coronation

    Tue 09 May 2023

We offer our prayers for King Charles as he prepares for his coronation. We pray that you will bless him with wisdom, compassion, and a strong sense of justice, so that he may be a just and fair ruler over our nation.

We ask that you guide him in all his decisions and give him the courage to do what is right, even in the face of adversity. We also pray that you will give him strength and perseverance as he takes on the responsibilities of his office.

May his reign be one of peace and prosperity for all people, and may he be a shining example of leadership and service to others. We pray that you will bless him, his family, and all those who serve our nation with him. Amen

  • We are delighted to announce that the Margate Rotary Club has generously decided to donate a box of books to our school library each term with a different theme for children to enjoy. This term's theme was football, and the children have been thrilled with the selection. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Margate Rotary Club and The Classroom for supplying these books, which will help foster a love for reading and learning in our young children. We eagerly anticipate finding out next term's theme and cannot wait to see what exciting titles and stories it brings. Thank you again to Rotary Club of Margate and The Classroom for your support in promoting literacy and education in our community.

  • A reminder that on Friday 5th May, we will be celebrating the coronation of the King with a non-uniform day. All children are invited to come dressed in their own clothes, and if possible, to include the colours red, white and blue in their outfits to mark this special occasion. This is an excellent opportunity for children to show their support and appreciation for the monarchy and to celebrate this historic moment. We hope that by dressing up in patriotic colours, the children will get a sense of the significance of this event, and the importance of our national identity. We look forward to seeing all the creative and colourful outfits on the day and celebrating this special occasion together.
