If your child is due to start primary school in September 2024 you can appeal between 16^th April -14th May 2024 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by July 2024.   For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals.  For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.

In Year Admissions

All applications for ‘In Year Admissions’ must be made directly to school. For ‘In Year Admissions’ please complete the In Year Casual Admissions Form (IYCAF) and a Supplementary Form found at the end of the Policy document. Once complete both forms should be submitted to the school office. We will process your application and write to you.

Admission to school

St. Gregory’s Catholic Primary School accepts new pupils from all religious denominations and cultures; you do not have to be Catholic to be a member of the St. Gregory’s community. However, the admissions criteria gives preference to baptised Catholics.

A Supplementary Information Form (Parts 1 & 2) will also need to be completed, it can be found at the end of the admissions policy document. This should be accompanied by any evidence of religious denomination and birth certificate.
