Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We're excited to announce that St Gregory's is taking part in the Thanet Rotary club annual Young Artist's festival!
This year, there are around 40 Thanet schools taking part with 780 entrants between the ages of 3 to 18 years old, so it should be a lovely exhibition!
Our EYFS and KEYSTAGE 1 students independently created some work around the theme 'WINGS' and our KEYSTAGE 2 students independently created work around the theme 'HEALTH and FOOD'.
We're proud to say that one piece of work has been chosen from each class, and that will be displayed at The Margate school (The Old Woolworth Building) address 31-33 High St, Margate CT9 1DX from Monday 29th May to Sunday 4th June, 10 am to 5 pm each day.
The exhibition will be judged over the weekend of 26th / 28th of May and schools will be notified of any winners and commendations on Monday 29th May. The prize-giving presentation (if we have any winners) is on Saturday 3rd of June at 12 noon at The Margate school.
All updates and information can be found on https://www.facebook.com/thanetartsfestival where the winners and commendations will also be announced.
We would like to say a special thank you to Miss McDaid for organising this for our children.

It's always heartening to see our youngest children exploring their creativity and applying their learning in practical ways. Our Reception classes' project on Transport has been an engaging and fun way to introduce them to the concept of designing and making land vehicles. We are so impressed that they were able to review their work and add finishing touches such as wheels, windows and paint.
These hands-on activities are instrumental in nurturing children's problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
Well done to our Reception classes for their fantastic work!

Congratulations to our Year 3/4 team on their impressive performance at the football tournament! They had a fun and positive experience while also displaying strong teamwork skills on the field. Winning two matches and losing two is an excellent result and shows that the team put in a great effort throughout the tournament.
We are all very proud of what the team achieved and can't wait to see what they'll do next. Well done again to the Year 3/4 team!
We offer our prayers for King Charles as he prepares for his coronation. We pray that you will bless him with wisdom, compassion, and a strong sense of justice, so that he may be a just and fair ruler over our nation.
We ask that you guide him in all his decisions and give him the courage to do what is right, even in the face of adversity. We also pray that you will give him strength and perseverance as he takes on the responsibilities of his office.
May his reign be one of peace and prosperity for all people, and may he be a shining example of leadership and service to others. We pray that you will bless him, his family, and all those who serve our nation with him. Amen
