St Gregory's Catholic Primary School

'For every future, for every child'

School Improvement

At St Gregory's we are constantly striving to improve in order to ensure our pupils receive the best possible education and achieve good outcomes before moving onto the next stage on their learning journey.

Leaders and Governors have reviewed the progress the school has made in the academic year 2017/2018 and have prioritized the key areas to focus on. KCSP will continue to work with and support us in ensuring we carry out the actions so that they impact on outcomes for our pupils.

Key Priority Areas:

1. Continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning so that it is at least consistently good across the whole school.

2. Develop the quality of professional development through two strands: Leadership and Teaching and Pedagogy, so that it impacts on the quality of teaching and learning.

3. Develop and embed a distributed leadership model so that leaders at all levels impact on the quality of teaching and learning.

4. Improve the rates of progress for vulnerable groups with a focus on SEND, PPF and AfA children.

5. Improve attendance.
