Our strengths
This year we are very proud to be supporting other schools in their developments of phonics teaching and developing continuous provision across Early Years and Key Stage 1 in their own schools.
What next?
Leaders and Governors have reviewed the progress the school has made in the academic year 2018/2019 and have prioritised the key areas to focus on. KCSP will continue to support us in ensuring we carry out the actions so that they impact on outcomes for our pupils.
Key Priority Areas:
1. Ensure all teaching is good and/or outstanding by using accurate assessment data based on prior attainment to inform plans and learning that is pitched accurately so that all children are challenged and make at least good progress.
2. Accelerate progress in writing and maths across the school, especially at greater depth.
3. Improve the rates of progress for vulnerable groups with a focus on SEND and pupil premium children.
4. Improve whole school attendance and implement procedures to track and intervene when necessary.
