Reception children at St Gregory's Catholic Primary School, Margate, have enjoyed a fantastic start to school life, settling in beautifully and embracing new learning experiences with enthusiasm.

From exploring numbers and phonics with Fred the Frog to sharing special treasures in their chatterboxes as part of their Marvellous Me topic, the children have quickly become a happy and confident part of the school community.

Charlotte McDaid, Early Years and Key Stage 1 Leader, said: "We are incredibly proud of how well the children have settled into school life. Their confidence is growing each day and they are already forming wonderful friendships."

Head Teacher Dave Walker added: "It has been a joy to see our newest pupils embrace every opportunity to learn, explore and become part of the St Gregory's family."
