The School Day

 

Nursery Year R KS1 KS2

Morning: 9:00 - 12:00

Afternoon: 12:15 - 3:15

8:50 - 3:15 8:50 - 3:20 8:50 - 3:25

 

It is important that your child arrives on time for the start of the school day. Lessons start straight away and they could miss out on key learning time if they are late.

 

Mornings

Children in Y1 - Y6 can be dropped in the Junior Playground where their teachers will collect them at 8:50. Nursery and YR children are taken to their classes by parents.

 

Wet weather

If there is heavy rain in the morning, please take Y1- Y6 children along the side entrance and straight into the hall where their teachers will collect them. Nursery and YR children can go straight to their classes.

 

Home Time

At 3:15 Nursery and YR children can be collected from the KS1 playground.

At 3:20 KS1 children can be collected from the Junior Playground.

At 3:25 KS2 children can be collected from the Junior Playground.

 

Teachers will line the children up and will only allow children to be taken by an adult known to them. If you have made arrangements for someone else to collect your child, please inform the class teacher or school office. If you are going to be late to collect your child please let us know as soon as possible.

 

After School Enrichment Clubs

Clubs finish at 3:15 and children will be taken to the Junior Playground for collection.

 

After School Club

This club wraps up at 5:45 with the expectation that all children are collected before 6pm.

We are pleased to announce that you can now download our school app - more details under the 'News & Events' page. Phil McDermott our storyteller returns to St Gregory's. Don't miss his storytelling assemblies every Tuesday at 2:45pm. If it is raining in the mornings, please take Y1 - Y6 children along the side entrance to the hall.
