St Gregory's Catholic Primary School

'For every future, for every child'

Rights Respecting School

St Gregory's has just begun its journey to become a UNICEF Rights Respecting School. In July we were awarded with the Unicef Recognition of Commitment to show that we have a clear plan and have involved our school community in working towards ensuring we respect and value rights within our school community.

We have a group of children, parents and staff who form our 'Article12' group and who work hard at developing ideas, formulating plans and driving our commitment to respecting rights across the school.

Please look out for more information on our website and on Facebook to see how the children at St Gregory's are ensuring our school is a rights respecting school.

Well done to the children in our Article 12 group who are asking for us all to make or buy a Christmas card for someone who may be feeling lonely at this time of year. The idea is to send a message to someone in a Christmas card and we will forward them onto:
Help for Heroes - supports those with injuries and illnesses who have served in the British Armed Forces
Post Pals - a children’s charity brightening the lives of sick children
Kent Kindness - offers support and hope to ...young asylum seekers and refugees who are living in Kent.
Please encourage your child to take part and send their cards into school.
Thank you to our Article 12 group and Mrs Dodson for coming up with this lovely idea
You can now download our school app - more details under the 'News & Events' page.
